Dr. Nolan DeSa
Dr. Nolan DeSa is a board certified general and bariatric surgeon serving the communities of Long Beach, Los Alamitos and Lakewood, CA.
Dr. DeSa completed his undergraduate studies at UCSD then went on to obtain his medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan. He stayed in Detroit for his surgical residency at Detroit Medical Center where he gained significant experience doing trauma and acute care general surgery. In order to expand his breadth of surgical knowledge, he went on to do a one year bariatric and minimally invasive fellowship at Banner Health System in Gilbert and Phoenix Arizona.
Dr. DeSa has a particular interest in robotic minimally invasive surgery.
He has a thirst for knowledge and it is of the utmost importance to him that he stays apprised of the latest surgical techniques.
